The phone or tablet has three control options
- Arrow mode: The arrow acts like a cursor and you must point your finger where you want the snake to move.
- Classic mode: Tap anywhere on the screen and the snake will move in that direction.
- Joystick Mode: This is the mode that most closely resembles mouse-like movement, where you control the joypad in the corner with your thumb.

This is a little hard to figure out at first, but use the hexagonal background map to estimate space. Once you dash, the number of hexagons between you and your opponent is how far ahead you need to go before making a turn.
Intermediate: Wrap Around the Orb and Eat
The coil is the most effective maneuver you need to master in Slytherin. Practice how to "capture" an area surrounded by your body by coiling it around yourself or your tail so you don't die from hitting it.
If you find a bunch of orbs, especially those left by larger snakes, do not eat them unnecessarily. Try wrapping it around them first. This way you can "capture" this many orbs and slowly devour them .
Advanced: Wrapping Around a Small Snake
The most popular strategy in Slytherin is to wrap yourself around a small snake and surround it completely. This way, at some point they will have no choice but to bump into you!
If the first coil is much larger than the snake inside, your opponent will have enough space to move around . You must carefully draw a small circle around your body and restrain your opponent until they collide with you.
The hard part: getting out of the coil.
